While the dining room closes at 9:00 p.m. like most restaurants in South Bend, they drive through window is open until 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tonight, a Friday night, I was able to get a delicious bowl of Poke At 9:30 PM. From the outside the place looks like a bit of a pit, but through the windows it was very impressive. The owners need to put a little money into improving the look of the outside of the restaurant, and the sign. I've been ignoring the place for decades basically because of the sign.

Have eaten here twice since moving to the area recently, and my husband and I absolutely LOVE it!! The prices are not cheap, but the food is more than worth it. Both times we have gotten sushi for takeout, and it has been absolutely fantastic. The drive thru pick up window is very convenient as well, and they prepared our orders very quickly. The sweet tea is delicious as well. We will definitely be continuing to get our sushi here and maybe try some of the hot cuisine as well! After reading other reviews on here, we have come to the conclusion that if you are nice to people they will be nice back. I worked as a waitress somewhere years ago and people do think they can be very rude to the staff and expect you to just have to take it. So yes I still after reading plan on continuing to visit because for us it's been fantastic

Stopped in for dinner and had the Avocado Bomb as an appetizer, and the Nigiri Deluxe and Fuji Roll for the main. They are open for dine in! We used to eat there before Covid and take out or delivery since. It’s really nice to be able to eat there again.

I can’t speak for everything on the menu, but I pick up the Poke Bowls from here regularly using the drive thru and I am always happy with what is provided. The fish and other ingredients in the poke bowls are always fresh and delicious. They’re a bit on the pricey side, and not quite as good as the (cheaper) Poke Bowls from Star Ginger at Notre Dame, but still great nonetheless. I’d recommend trying out the bowls at Ichiban at least once and see if you like them.

It looks to be closed but we were able to dine in. Their crab ragoons are amazing !!!! So was their wonton soup and miso soup. They do have a closed off section for the old part of the building and I believe they might be remodeling. My New York fried sushi roll

I started with a Sushi Regular. The sushi here is very fresh and the chef handles it well very delicious pieces. To compliment I had the Dragon & Phoenix. Presentation was beautiful and the taste is delectable. I suggest that when in South Bend make a trip down to Ichiban Golden Dragon. A true hidden gem.

this place was wonderful! the atmosphere was very humble but clean! we loved the food and the service. It was very warm inside of the restaurant due to no AC but it was very much worth it! For my friend and I to split 2 sushi rolls, cream cheese wontons & the chicken and broccoli it was around 38 before tip! I would absolutely visit again!

The food is amazing. I’ve been ordering from Uber eats for a while and I have never had a problem. Their fish is always fresh and the rolls dissolve in your mouth! Yesterday I went to visit the place, the waitress was running around, it took half an hour to come to the table, we decided to take it to go then. I recommend ordering online, you will not regret it, the food is amazing. Don’t try to eat in the restaurant, they don’t have staff to accommodate you.
